What is CVS and what to expect at CVS?
Since 2009, the China Visitors Summit (CVS) produced and operated around the world by China i2i Group has brought more than 1000 Chinese travel buyers together in face to face matchmaking meetings designed to maximize the business potential for travel from China to the world. Each summit offers a mixture of 100 Chinese travel buyers, including key executive decision makers from travel agencies, tour operators, corporate travel managers, MICE planners and shopping consultants.
How are these buyers selected?
Select: Target firms are selected that are active or developing travel business for the CVS host region, with a focus on: FIT, Corporate, Group, MICE, Shopping, Sports and Medical.
Invite: Executive decision makers who plan and procure travel products are invited. Including: CEO’s, department chiefs, procurement directors and business managers.
Pay: Each Chinese buyer pays a registration fee of 3000 rmb, approximately €375. And then each buyer purchases and shows CVS their confirmed paid air ticket and travel visa.
Confirm: Buyer registration is confirmed. Now he/she is ready to meet you and get to know your company products.
Value NOTICE: Please note that CVS is NOT a Fam trip.
All of the selected Chinese buyers are vetted, invited, pay a registration fee and pay their air to attend the event!!!!

Greetings from Shanghai!
According to Taleb Rifai, Secretary General of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), “Chinese tourists are the most powerful single source of change in the tourism industry”.
In 2017, Chinese travelers made more than 145 million international departures spending $261 Billion in the process.
No matter if you are destination, a retailer, an attraction, a hotel; touching this market should be of primary importance to your future business.
But for many travel organizations, the challenge continues to be how to find the most qualified Chinese buyers for travel retail, wholesale, MICE and corporate?
For the past 8 years, the CVS: China Visitors Summit has brought together hundreds of Chinese buyers and global travel suppliers in global destinations.
The 2018 CVS will be held May 22 – 24, at the Intercontinental Dusseldorf.  The event will unite 100 Chinese travel buyers – travel agents, tour operators, MICE managers, corporate travel planners, media and bloggers with 100 travel suppliers (Destinations, hotels, attractions, airlines, car rental companies, retailers and brands) from throughout Europe.  Our CVS website is here :http://cvs.i2i-china.com/supplier/ .
The summit is an effective and efficient way for you to meet the most highly qualified Chinese travel buyers when they come to Europe.  This saves you the long flights, there is no exhibition planning and costs.  No shipping and dealing with customs. No hidden costs and no funny foods – unless you like funny foods.
I have uploaded a video to give you a taste of the event: https://we.tl/x5svY5Dtqi
This is NOT a fam trip!
The Chinese buyers pay a €300 registration fee and pay their air travel to the summit, a total of well over €1400. But before they register, they are chosen by our registration managers, pre-qualified based on the value and spend of their travel business to Europe and the purchasing decision maker (normally the product director) is sourced within the company. Once identified and confirmed, then they are invited.  The buyers qualified, plus investing their money and time to join the summit.  If they don’t meet all of the requirements – they are not invited.
In 2017, these buyers sold more than €200 million in travel product and sent over 320,000 Chinese travelers to Europe. Please download our latest list of buyers here:  https://we.tl/dcZcAE7Eu2
The heart of the summit is two days of face-to-face, one on one, matchmaking appointments.  It’s very intensive, networking focused and hence very valuable for travel groups and the Chinese buyers as well.  Just grab your iPad, meet and sell.
There are several ways for you and your partners to join the event:
  • Single Supplier Registration: One individual set of appointments at the conference – up to 46 appointments, plus networking events, evening cocktail reception and daily lunches. Price: €2600 Per Supplier.
  • Double Supplier Registration:  – This affords more of the face-to-face meetings as you get double the number of confirmed appointments with no over-lap, plus all of the networking events, evening cocktail receptions and daily luncheons for two. Price: €2300 Per Supplier
  • Group Registration: Designed for 3-5 persons, from your company or partner enterprises, each with their separate set of buyer appointments, allowing you to have a group or destination wide participation, including the networking events, evening cocktail receptions and daily luncheons.  If you buy 5 supplier registrations, you get one additional registration for free!  That is 6 in Total for the prince of 5.  Price: €2100 Per Supplier.
  • Sponsorship: Packages are designed to give you extended visibility, select presentations to the Chinese buyers, your own information center at the CVS and host special events, dinners, luncheon, tours, stop-overs, gifts and pre-summit and post summit exclusive connections with the buyers, plus a supplier registration and one-on-one appointments with the buyers.
I hope you find this of interest and I would be pleased to send you a specific proposal based on your needs and interest.

China i2i Group has been helping global travel suppliers connect with China since 1999.  Our clients include these companies: http://www.i2i-china.com/i2i-clients/
In the meantime, please let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks for your consideration and hope to see you at the Summit in 2018.
Best regards,
